To do lists. I have a large one today. I’m trying to get to a bunch of the things that I put off, pushed to the side or otherwise ignored over the last few days while I was trying to put the finishing touches on a game I am running for my friends.
We kicked that off last night and it went well, but now? Now I am looking at a mountain of stuff that should be done, but is not. Here is the thing, the lesson from all this, if you will. I do not regret the time I put into setting things up for my game. Sure it meant other things did not get done, but I got into gaming to game not to make games.
That was what the prep was about – being able to get back out there and run a game for a few people . A chance to roll the dice and have some laughs. So I do not regret it. Now, however, I have to get the work done.
